Choose the right keywords! Choose keywords that people are likely to use to find you. Make lists of keywords, include them in the meta tags and use them as much as possible in the entry page.
Avoid "stop words" like the, and, too, homepage, web, etc.
Don't ignore the TITLE tag
Include keywords in the title, all search engines give high priority to the TITLE tag. Many search engines use the title of your site in their search results so it should be compelling.
Description
The majority of the search engines will use your description if you have it, instead of what they would otherwise randomly select from the copy of your pages. Your listing in the search engines should be compelling. Don't use more than 25 words in general.
Keywords
This tag lets you suggest keywords to the search engines that you would like your web site to be returned for. Don't repeat keywords more than 3 times, some engines will bann your site. Put the most important keywords early in the list.
